    A cubic yard is exactly 27 cubic feet, regardless of material.

  • Why not show tons?

    Wet and dry sand can have materially different bulk weights, and supplier gradations differ.

  • Can I use this for paver joints?

    It gives bulk volume, but packaged jointing products are usually ordered by manufacturer coverage instead.
