How the board foot calculator works
A board foot is a trade volume of 144 cubic inches. With thickness and width in inches and length in feet, divide their product by 12 and multiply by quantity.
Use nominal dimensions for board-foot pricing unless the seller explicitly prices another basis. Actual dressed dimensions are smaller.
